Week in flows

Raid calls took hits

Crimson kisten and Elemental amulet both lost ground through the week. The Kisten bet was specific: it could suit a crush-focused raid. The price moved the other way. Elemental amulet fell even further, while Eye of Ayak and Soulflame horn also ended lower.

Chart: Crimson kisten, Sunday spot 66.68M–67.00M.

The quiet winners kept climbing

The blowpipe rose despite a weekend question about whether the new crossbows would end its role. Prayer regeneration potions also finished higher after a Monday post made the case for them as a barrel supply.

Big gear eased into release week

Most of the biggest items finished below Monday’s 6h average. That could fit players selling expensive gear to fund raid bets, or selling ahead of the release. It is only a read; the weekly prices do not prove why they moved. Harmonised orb bounced midweek, then slipped back by Sunday.

Scythe of Vitur (uncharged) 6h average prices from Mon Oct 12 to Sun Oct 18

Chart: Scythe of Vitur (uncharged), Sunday spot 1.160B–1.165B.

News and catalysts

  • More Gathering Efficiencies changed Runite Golem mining. Runite ore stayed flat this week, so the update did not reprice a basket.
  • Quest Month - Rewards Poll Blog proposed a tradeable early-game ranged amulet. The poll is pending; no basket repriced.
  • Community Spotlight: 10Boot had no market angle.
  • Jagex Accounts: Migration Begins Nov 17 says legacy accounts must upgrade by Nov 17 to log in. Any bot-supply effect would come later; bonds, rune ore, and Zulrah’s scales did not react this week.
  • None of the official items repriced a basket this week. The Fractured Archive opens Tue Oct 20 at 11:00 UTC (7:00 AM ET).

Watchlist for next week

  • Toxic blowpipe (empty): watch whether the rise holds after the crossbow debate. Invalidation: below 10.09M, the 6h week low.
  • Crimson kisten: it could reprice if raid use shows up in play, but the week closed lower. Invalidation: below 66.65M, the 6h week low.
  • Harmonised orb: watch for a hold after the midweek bounce. Invalidation: below 528.28M, the 6h week low.
