Scanner with verdicts
Filter by profit, ROI, budget, fill time, volume, and freshness. Each item gets BUY, DECENT, RISKY, or AVOID and a reason. The ticket shows quantity, buy price, sell price, after-tax profit, and a walk-away timer.
High alchemy
Scanner Alch View ranks high-alchemy by profit, ROI, or GP per hour. Same scheduled price snapshot. No extra API calls.
Price history audits
Audit an item's hourly price history. Sell-price hit rate is how often the quoted sell was reached. Seven-day margin stability is graded A to F.
Watchlist
Save up to 25 items locally. Each card compares current prices and margin with the values from when you saved the item. You can run an audit from the Watchlist.
Risk checks and notifications
Flags stale quotes, thin-volume spreads, weak recent trading, and unstable margins. Notifications are optional: trade candidates, alch candidates, or both.
Four verdicts
BUY, DECENT, RISKY, AVOID.
BUY
Fresh quote, fill fast enough, profit after tax.
DECENT
Usable margin after tax. Freshness, fill speed, or ROI is short of BUY.
RISKY
Slow fill, cooling momentum, weak activity, or unstable history.
AVOID
Do not use this quote as-is. Stale, a suspicious spread, or no usable profit after tax.
Boundaries
You place the trade.
No GE automation
The plugin never reads, writes, places, edits, or cancels Grand Exchange offers. Ticket values are for you to type. Clipboard copy is the furthest it goes.
Data access and timing
All market data comes from the OSRS Wiki Real-time Prices API.
- Wiki data is off by default. No request is made until you enable it in plugin settings.
- While the panel is visible, the price snapshot refreshes at most once per 60 seconds. All polling stops when the panel is closed.
- Switching tabs, searching, opening the Watchlist, and using the overview create no extra price requests.
- 5-minute and 24-hour stats are cached for 5 minutes. Item mapping is cached for 24 hours. Transient failures use capped exponential backoff.
- Automatic price-history audits are capped at 3 calls per 30 minutes.
- Every request sends a fixed User-Agent linking to the public GitHub issue tracker. No personal email. The Wiki API sees your IP as normal HTTP metadata.
No telemetry
No RuneScape account data, credentials, GE offers, telemetry, or cloud sync data is sent. There is no first-party data collection. All processing stays inside RuneLite on your machine.
